What you will need to prepare:

  1. Download our app:

    1. For Android go to Google Play Store

    2. For IOS go to the App store

  2. A valid phone number, that can receive texts.

  3. A valid ID

    1. We currently cannot accept visas that expire within 6 months.

    2. We currently cannot accept some visas that were issued within 1 year.
      ​Find out more about common reasons that you may not be able to use GIG-A immediately.

  4. Your official address, in Kanji, matches the address on your ID.

  5. Your name in Katakana.

If you are helping us learn more about your customer experience or want someone to help you through the process; we are offering live onboarding calls. Those happen via Google Meet, which you may need to download:

During peak times, we may limit the onboarding of new customers, we want to offer the best possible service so we are ramping up step-by-step. If you cannot immediately make an account you will need to request an invite code.
