Why does my app freeze or doesn't work correctly?

Occasionally, your device may experience technical difficulties due to an overload of stored data, known as a cache. The cache can impact the smooth running of your apps, including causing freezes or slowdowns.

Why do I need to clear my cache?

Clearing your cache can often resolve these issues, giving you a smoother, more responsive experience when using your apps. It's like giving your device a quick spring clean!

How can I clear my cache?

For iOS Users:

  1. Quit GIG-A app

  2. Open 'Settings' on your device.

  3. Scroll down and select the Giga app.

  4. Look for an option saying 'Clear cache on the next launch'. If available, tap to clear.

    If it does not work, please delete the GIG-A app the install again then restart your device to ensure changes take effect.

For Android Users:

  1. Quit GIG-A app

  2. Open 'Settings' on your device.

  3. Tap 'Storage' and then 'Other Apps' (or 'Apps & notifications' on some devices).

  4. Select the GIG-A app which is experiencing issues.

  5. Tap 'Clear cache'.

  6. Restart your device to ensure changes take effect.
